diver
  • The Virtual Dive is for kids 5-12 years of age, with specific times for adult dives.
  • You must sign up for a dive at the the table outside the Kids Virtual Scuba Dive in the Kid's Place, Environmental Awareness Area.
  • A child or adult will only be allowed one (1) Virtual Dive per day.
  • Each dive will last approximately 10 minutes, you must be at the dive site at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled dive time. If you are not on time your dive will be aborted and you must sign up for another time.
  • All divers must follow the dive safety rules and the virtual divemaster's instructions, failure to do so means that you must return to the surface.
  • A maximum of 10 divers will be allowed per dive.
  • All kids must have parental/guardian's consent to participate.


Virtual Dive Safety Rules

  • Enjoy your dive.
  • Breathe normally.
  • Many of the corals, fish and other objects underwater are very delicate.
  • Watch your buoyancy to protect the fish and coral from fins and hands.
  • Stay within your maximum depth or bottom time limits.
  • Always use the buddy system and stay with your group.
  • Be careful of your ascent and descent rates.
  • Remember to make your safety stop before ending your dive.
  • Leave only bubbles.
